We hope everyone is enjoying the new NatureSpot website. It's certainly faster than the previous version and it's much better on mobiles.  We still have a few known issues to fix and we've had a few comments and questions via Twitter and Facebook but it would be very helpful to get your feedback on the new site - how is it working for you?

Everything seems to be working now.

I'm pleased that the map on the recording page has changed back from a street map to an aerial photo: the most interesting nature is often not close to any street!

On the Latest Images page, I'd prefer it if the images for a single record could be grouped together, as they were before.

I'm finding the upgraded website a little slow. I also much preferred the old layout of the species galleries, with smaller thumbnails and all species on one page as it's easier to find possible matches. Will the facility to edit gallery images for a species be restored soon? There's a Philodromus on the Zygiella x-notata 'additional images' page (9th image) that needs removing (I thought I'd done it before the upgrade but it has reappeared). One very useful feature of the old website was the list on the right showing the families/subsections, etc. when you clicked on a species gallery - it would be good if this could be restored.

The "My Records" report no longer seems to re-sort if you click on one of the column headings.

Clicking on images in 'Latest Images' no longer expands that image - I found this useful in the old website, and I would have thought this should be easy to bring back.  After submitting a record, a map is presented of all existing records, but this now shows the whole of Europe (but only VC55 records) rather than the local map that was displayed before. General comment - if font size was more consistent the website would be easier to use - there's a combination of some quite large text and some tiny text in the new website.

Only the last 15 records are listed on the latest records for a site with no option to select the next page so if more than 15 sightings have been submitted by one or more people recently some will be invisible unless on the latest images tab which retains the paging option

A couple of times now I have submitted records and after a very long wait have been presented with a 'Drupal already installed' page.

The 'Spiders, Arachnids' picture link on the Species Galleries page gives 'Page not found'. The link on the right hand side works.

'Latest Images' doesn't work too well. The order of images seems a bit random, with images from the same record not displayed together, and going from one page to the next, a lot of the images are repeated.
