Annual Toadflax - Linaria maroccana

Description

The flowers are similar to other members of the toadflax family borne in a spike-like raceme and may be any one of a variety of colours. Leaves are linear and untoothed. Linaria maroccana has a corolla spur that is much longer than the corolla.

UK Status

Widespread but occasional as a wild flower in Britain.

VC55 Status

Infrequent as a wild flower in Leicestershire and Rutland. It was not recorded in the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire.
