Limnephilus decipiens - Limnephilus decipiens
Forewing length 12 to 15 mm. The brown wing is mottled with paler areas.
Slow rivers and canals.
May to October.
Mainly found in the southern half of Britain where it may be local in many areas.
Uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland. A specimen taken at light in Sapcote on 15th July 2014 was only the fourth record for VC55.
