Leaves rounded, shiny, toothed near tip. Flowers white, long stalked with 5 petals.
Woodland edge and hedgerows.
Flowers in April and May.
Perennial.
Occasional but fairly widespread.
Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland. In the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire it was found in 13 of the 617 tetrads.
