Fairly frequent in central and southern England, scarcer elsewhere.

VC55 Status

Uncommon or under recorded in VC55 - Sapcote record of 31.8.2011 is thought to be only the second record for this species in Leicestershire and Rutland, the first being from Stoneygate in 1981.
