Description

Forewing length 6 to 9 mm. A fairly plain dark brown caddis, with less speckling than other members of this group.

Widespread but local in Britain.

VC55 Status

Rare or under recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland. The Sapcote record of 19th May 2014 may be the first confirmed record for VC55.
