Sminthurides aquaticus

Description

Adults up to 0.5mm, females larger than males. Yellowish with some blue pigmentation on the dorsal side of the body. In Sminthurides aquaticus, the fourth antennal segment in the female is not divided into subsegments (c.f. other Sminthurides).

Wet habitats. Often found on the surface of ponds.
